The Town Clerk for Bindura Municipality is Ms.E.A Madziire. She is located at our Town House.
She works closely with His Worship the Mayor of Bindura to make sure that the vision and mission of Bindura Municipality becomes reality.
She is a hard working individual responsible for various council duties as directed by the by-laws of Local Authorities of Zimbabwe.

The Town Clerks department, led by Town Clerk and CEO Ms. E.A Madziire, plays a central role in overseeing the Council’s operations. Its primary responsibility is to provide strategic administrative guidance, ensuring the Council’s activities align with the legal framework established by the Government of Zimbabwe’s statutes, policies, and Municipal by-laws.
TOWN CLECK’S DEPARTMENT
The Town Clerks department main function is provide administrative direction to the Council’s affairs and is headed by the Town Clerk who is the Chief Executive Officer of Bindura Municipality and Head of department of Town Clerks Department. The department manages and guides Council in accordance with the statutory powers and duties conferred on the Council by statutes and policies laid down by the Government of Zimbabwe and Municipal by-laws.
All Heads of Departments report to the Town Clerk whilst she reports to Council. The Town Clerk is responsible for the proper administration of Council and managing the operations and property of the Council. Her responsibilities and duties are provided for in the Urban Council Act (29; 15), section 136.
Department’s Overall Functions
• Monitoring compliance with policies, procedures, laws and regulations in Council operation as dictated by statutes.

• Assessing the level of risk that may affect Council operations and advising on risk reduction measures
• Carrying out investigations
